Review the information below to help you complete the housing application.

Application Requirements

  • You must be accepted to Alabama A&M University before applying for housing.

  • A $350 housing fee is required before you are eligible to apply for housing. The fees include $100 nonrefundable application fee, and $250 refundable deposit. (allow 24 hrs for your payment to post to your account)

  • Pay your fees at aamu.afford.com (no-longer open) Please call the office to check on availability.

Are you ready to "Live the Bulldog Life"? To assist with setting up your new room, we have compiled a list of suggested items to bring with you to the Residence Hall. For a complete list, please refer to the "Guide to Campus Living". Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Property Manager: Kenneth Hoggan, 256-372-2003.


Students are required to sign a housing agreement to live in Normal Hills. Based on the housing agreement we nologer have a 10 month lease, therefore, you are subject to the same rules located in the Guide for Campus Living as other students in Residential Life & Housing.

  • Private Bedrooms

  • Housing Agreement is on a temporary basis.

  • Full-Size Washer and Dryer

  • Fully-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, disposal, and microwave

  • Phone and Cable connection in each room

  • High-Speed Internet Service

  • Courtesy Officer and Police Substation

  • Adjacent to state of the art Student Health and Wellness Center

2 X 2 914 Sq. Ft.

3 X 3 1145 Sq. Ft.

Summer Housing Rates


Summer School Move-in date: May 23, 2018, by 12 noon


Knight Complex Non Traditional (Current Undergraduate Students)

New students entering Summer 18 will be assigned to Knight Complex.

Normal Hills Apartment 
(Current Graduate Students Will Remain in Their  Assignments in Building 7) Graduate students assigned to the Student Residence Hall will need to apply for Knight Complex (summer only).
